MarketAxess is a leading fixed income electronic trading platform for institutional investors and dealers. In dealing with high volumes of client data, it follows a robust set of InfoSec measures.

However, when clients asked questions about how their data was protected, MarketAxess account managers had no ready-made content to share with them. The firm's InfoSec team was forced to intervene and attend lengthy face-to-face meetings, which impacted their own workload.

The solution was to build a dedicated InfoSec hub within the MarketAxess website which empowered clients with everything they needed to know in a digestible format.

I created new web copy explaining the company's encryption, GDPR and incident management protocols. Working directly with a designer and product owner, we applied several UX techniques, like chunking and progressive disclosure, to avoid overwhelming users.
